Like you, I have switched over to the Canon R3. Enjoyed thumbing through and tweaking some of my settings to match your previous link for the 1Dx III. Are you going to be adding something similar for the R3?
Hi Perry. I have done one for the R3. However I am still tweaking some button settings for eye control AF. What I am playing with would turn my back button focusing on both the * and AF-ON into something completely different. AF-ON for normal metering and AF start. The * button for eye detection AF and the AF point selection button for Start AF eye control. I do currently have AF eye control on the SET button. As soon as I have tried more extensively, i will post. I also have 2 R5,s which don’t have quite the same extensive options of the R3. I have even made a few small adjustments to those that i should update on the site. Regards John
Thanks Franco. I had refined some of those settings, particularly after the more recent firmware updates. I have now changed over to a Canon R3 which has similar settings to the live view settings of the 1DX3 with quite a few additional options.
Thanks, John, I have an R5 as well and look forward to all your updates. Thanking you in advance for your speedy reply
